Rare sculptural pair of armchairs in mahogany stained wood with velvet upholstery by Gio Ponti, Italy, late 1940. The chairs were designed for the lobby of the hotel “Paradiso del Cevedale”, a luxurious resort Hotel designed by Gio Ponti in the Italian mountains near Bolzano.
Comes with letter of authenticity by Gio Ponti Archives.
